The Rundown: Batman continues his mission to bring down the Orghams.

Batman continues his mission to retake Gotham and it takes him to the train yards for a confrontation with Two-Face. A confrontation that will reveal that Batman has a specific role in mind for the villain. One that will bring him back to the city to take on their mutual enemy. At the same time, Gordon brings information to Montoya in order to keep her in the loop.

As Batman’s presence continues to build, the Orgham’s decide to begin the next phase of their plan which involves creating a new villain for the city to fear. As batman gathers his allies to take on this threat, Joker pays a visit to someone special in order to bring her back into her old life.

The Story: Ram V continues to craft a wonderful mystery in this arc and this issue creates some great moments for Batman and his new mission in Gotham. There is a great buildup of tension and suspense throughout the issue and some great moments between characters especially Gordon and Montoya. There is a dark tension throughout the issue that is creating a wonderful story that I am excited to see evolve.

The Art: Raffaele delivers beautifully detailed and darkly atmospheric art throughout the issue. The visuals are intense and perfectly capture the dark tone of the story.
